Parts Specialist

Bobcat of Lansing is an independent Bobcat dealership located at 3237 W Miller Rd in Lansing, Michigan, supporting contractors, landscapers, farms, and homeowners across mid-Michigan. We are currently hiring a Parts Specialist to join our parts department.

The Parts Specialist supports customers, technicians, and the service department by identifying, sourcing, and selling the right Bobcat parts and accessories — over the counter, on the phone, and online.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, phone, and email customers with parts lookups, pricing, and availability.
• Support service technicians with internal parts requests and back-order tracking.
• Use Bobcat parts catalogs and the dealer management system to identify correct parts.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory; maintain a clean, accurate parts counter and warehouse.
• Process sales, returns, and warranty parts paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• Customer service experience, preferably in parts, equipment, automotive, or related field.
• Comfort with computers, parts catalogs, and dealer management systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with compact equipment, small engines, or similar products preferred.
• Organized, accurate, and able to juggle counter customers and phone calls.
• Ability to lift parts and work onsite in Lansing, MI.
