Scheduler

Scheduler - 1st shift - Abilene, KS

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 1^st Scheduler to join our team at our facility in Abilene, KS. In this role, you will work closely with the plant employees and vendors, in addition to key members across the organization.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required, and reports directly to the Material Control Manager.
        

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data entry of daily production, stock transfers and purchasing receivers  
• Administer cycle count, supply/demand, pick tickets 
• Help maintain accurate inventory  
• Expedite components and part shortages daily 
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
• Other duties may be assigned that requires other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment

Desired Skills and Qualifications: 

• AS400 experience a must 
• Microsoft Excel experience recommended 
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Willing to take on new challenges and meet strict deadlines 
• Product knowledge is helpful 
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and neatness is a must
