Shop Technician I (2nd Shift) – Caterpillar Reman | West Fargo, ND

Caterpillar Remanufacturing currently has openings for Shop Technician I positions supporting Reman Drivetrain located in the West Fargo, ND facility. As a Technician at Caterpillar Inc., you will operate a variety of tools and equipment to assemble and disassemble core product.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $20.53 – $26.13 (based on skills/experience)
• 2nd shift 7% night shift premium
• 2nd Shift Hours: 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM, Monday – Thursday
• 80 hours vacation + 24 hours PTO

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately utilize data collection systems
• Perform basic assembly and disassembly operations
• Use blueprints, gauges, and torque measuring devices to ensure quality
• Use precision measuring devices to assemble/disassemble final product
• Perform preventive maintenance and 5S Audits
• Follow Caterpillar Production System (CPS) Standard Work Sheets

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 35 pounds
